Underneath that Sony Xperia Z1 is your next Android phone.  Yeah, it has a 5.5" screen wtih a 1080p resolution.  That works out to more than 400 PPI for those keeping scores.  It'll have a decend 3100 mAh battery which should be enough to keep more medium to heavy users chugging along for a full day.  It'll have a Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm that should give you enough muscle to run heavy duty apps and games.

Folks, let's not kid around.  This is what the Nexus 5 should have been and this ought to be the next "Nexus" device for Android purists out there.

From the boasting this moring from OnePlus, this could be the device that other Android makers want to pay attention to.

Of course, we will have to see how this works out.  This is a Chinese company after all and I'm not afraid to admit my bias against Chinese spying.  Sure, I not happy with the NSA looking over my shoulder but they're my guys.  This is supposed to be based on a CyanogenMod version of the Android so that's why I'm still open to the possibility of getting this instead of the Nexus or Galaxy S 5.
