It looks like things are pretty rosy now in Android land as the major Android device makers endorse the deal between Google and Motorola.
HTC, Samsung, and LG have all spoke with short statements of their endorsement. Now, let’s see just what that means once they’ve taken a look at the deal.
The statements all point specifically to Google defending the realm of Android. It’s unlikely this will change much of anything going on in the patent war. It’s also unsure just how Google plan on using the patents to defend its partners and if its partners will be forced to share their patents if they want Google’s protection.
